Build a combination circuit with a series resister of 40 ohms and parallel resisters of 60 ohms, 15 ohms, and 15 ohms. Determine V, I, and R for each part, and for the total circuit. Then please talk to Mr. Guyer. Tell him how we started this electricity unit, using the bulbs, the physics classroom material, and then the phet, and then finally the diagrams. Explain how things work and what helped you the most---the diagrams, the hands-on work, or the phet? Consider this an assessment on what you have learned and show him this problem.
IF you have time, then go to http://www.physicsclassroom.com/Class/circuits/u9l4e.cfm and take a look at the bottom circuits. You will need to work through them and be ready to have questions to be answered sometime on Thursday. Expect a quiz on Friday.
